About NoonNosh

A small, honest utility: lunch menu ideas in the grand service formats, composed privately in your browser.

I. What this site is

NoonNosh is a free lunch menu composer. It arranges real dish names into classic formats — à la carte, prix fixe, table d'hôte and du jour — across Italian, Mexican, Asian, Mediterranean and American cuisines, for restaurants, food trucks, caterers, meal programs and creators. The entire tool is static HTML, CSS and JavaScript: no backend, no database, no accounts.

II. What this site is not

NoonNosh is not a cookbook and not a nutrition service. It composes dish names and menu structures — no recipes, no quantities, no nutrition data, no pricing. The limits box on the tool page states this plainly, and the guides explain how real lunch menus are structured so the ideas land somewhere useful.

III. Why it is built this way

  • Private by architecture. Everything runs in your browser via crypto.getRandomValues(). There is no server to trust because no server is involved.
  • Free with no catch. No sign-up walls, no usage tiers. A menu composer does not need your email address.
  • Honest by default. Composed menus are labeled as idea lists on the page and in the download file — never recipes, never nutrition advice.

IV. The guides

Alongside the composer, the site publishes short practical guides: lunch menu formats, the categories every menu uses, how to build a menu from scratch and who composes with NoonNosh. Written plainly, without invented statistics or claims.
